Dodgers’ Billingsley leaves in 3rd inning



GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Chad Billingsley was knocked out in the third inning of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 10-6 split-squad win over the Chicago White Sox on Saturday night.

Billingsley gave up three runs and six hits in 2 1-3 innings. He struck out three, walked one and was lifted with runners on second and third after reaching 53 pitches.

White Sox starter Philip Humber gave up two runs in three innings. He struck out three and allowed three hits.

Tyler Flowers, Chicago’s backup catcher, hit a three-run homer off Josh Lindblom after Billingsley exited.

The Dodgers’ Juan Rivera hit his second home run of the spring, a solo shot off Humber. Jerry Hairston Jr. also homered.
