The Tacoma News Tribune announced its all-state teams for girls and boys basketball, and Clark County is well-represented.

Heather Corral of Prairie was named the player of the year after guiding the Falcons to the Class 3A state championship. A senior, she has signed with the University of Washington.

Brooke Bowen, a senior from Skyview, was named to the second team, which combines all classifications. Skyview coach Jennifer Buscher, meanwhile, was named the girls coach of the year after leading the Storm to the Class 4A state title.

Union senior Jordan Chatman, a 6-foot-4 guard, was named first team all-state on the boys side. He helped the Titans finish third in the 4A state tournament and was named the tourney’s MVP. Chatman has signed with Brigham Young University and expects to play there after going on a two-year mission for his church.

Caleb Dressler of Evergreen, a 6-11 post, made the second team. He has signed with Hawaii.
