DALLAS (AP) — Mavericks center Brendan Haywood is back in the starting lineup against Washington.

He had missed four games since spraining his left ankle in the opening minute of the Mavericks’ game March 5 at Oklahoma City.

Haywood wasn’t the only big man the Mavericks got back Tuesday. Center Brandan Wright was active after missing six games with concussion-like symptoms.

The Mavericks earlier Tuesday assigned forward Sean Williams to the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.

Dallas guard Delonte West missed his 13th consecutive game because of a broken right ring finger. Coach Rick Carlisle said West hasn’t healed enough yet to have the pins removed from his finger.
