PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) — Catcher Nick Hundley went 3 for 3 with two RBIs and threw out a runner in the San Diego Padres’ 6-3 win over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday.

Hundley, who played in just 82 games last season because of injury, drove in a run in the first inning and another in a four-run fifth.

Edinson Volquez went three innings for the Padres, allowing two runs on one hit in his second spring start. Gavin Floyd started for the White Sox and worked three innings, allowing one run.

Brent Lillibridge, playing shortstop, had an RBI double and walked and scored a run for the White Sox.
