A teenage girl was sent to the hospital Tuesday morning after being hit by a car on East Mill Plain Boulevard.
The crash was reported just before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Mill Plain and Grand boulevards.
The girl’s injuries were not life-threatening; she was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, said Joe Spatz, a Vancouver Fire Department spokesman.
Vancouver police also responded to the crash, which wasn’t blocking the intersection, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.
The driver stopped after the crash, said Kim Kapp, a police spokeswoman.
The girl’s name was not released.
