FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino says he hasn’t decided yet how to handle running back Knile Davis’ return to the field.

The Razorbacks open spring practice on Wednesday, with Davis fully recovered from a fractured left ankle that cost him all of last season.

Petrino says Davis is “100 percent” healthy but he isn’t sure yet whether the junior will take part in the live tackling part of spring practice. Petrino also says he expects Davis, who redshirted last season, to have a standout 2012 season and for him to declare for the NFL draft afterward.

Davis led all Southeastern Conference running backs in rushing in 2010 as a sophomore, finishing with 1,322 yards on the ground.
