PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon coast is expected to see high wind on Wednesday, with gusts reaching 65 mph.
Steady wind of between 35 mph and 45 mph is expected throughout the day.
The region is reeling from snow and ice that closed highways, delayed school openings and left some people without power.
KGW-TV reports (http://bit.ly/yExBzu ) that about 700 Tillamook PUD customers remained without power on Wednesday morning after the Tuesday storm.
Coastal areas received between 5 inches and 8 inches of snow on Tuesday.
