A soccer doubleheader Wednesday at McKenzie Stadium will coincide with a fundraiser for a coach and a teacher.
Paul Beck, a teacher at Union and a former teacher and assistant soccer coach at Mountain View, has been diagnosed with a form of multiple sclerosis.
Mountain View and Union play each other at 7 p.m. Heritage and Evergreen will play at 5 p.m.
Mountain View coach Jeff Brooks said he is hoping former players and fans of high school soccer can attend and make a donation.

The next induction ceremony will likely take place in September. For more information, e-mail Marcia Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Jessica Chatman commits to BYU
And yet another member of the Chatman family is headed to Brigham Young University.
Union sophomore Jessica Chatman received a scholarship offer from BYU coach Jeff Judkins last week, and she accepted.
“BYU is the only place I’ve wanted to play,” Chatman told the Deseret News of Salt Lake City. “I love BYU. I love the coaches there, and it’s going to be great playing there with my brother.”
Jessica’s brother, Jordan Chatman, signed a letter of intent to play for BYU. He’ll enroll at the school after he returns from a two-year church mission in Taiwan. Jessica and Jordan both plan to enroll at BYU for the 2014-15 basketball season.
Chatman scores 11 at all-state series
Jordan Chatman scored 11 points and had two rebounds and two assists in one of the 2012 Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association All-State Games at Curtis High School last weekend.
Chatman, a senior from Union, also was named Mr. Washington for his strong season.
Caleb Dressler of Evergreen finished with four points, seven rebounds, and an assist for the 4A stars.
The 3A team beat the 4A stars 104-83.
