TIGARD, Ore. (AP) — Three people were hit as they walked across Pacific Highway Thursday night in Tigard.
The two men and a woman were taken to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland. No word on their conditions but police say they were talking with medical personnel.
The accident happened just before 11 p.m. Police say the three were in a crosswalk, but the driver had a green light. The 83-year-old man did not appear to be impaired and cooperated with investigators. He says he didn’t see the pedestrians.
