Activist: Israeli, Palestinian hurt in West Bank

JERUSALEM (AP) -- An Israeli activist says Israeli soldiers fired a rubber bullet at an Israeli protester, and soldiers unleashed a dog toward a Palestinian in two separate incidents in the West Bank.

Jonathan Pollak, a pro-Palestinian Israeli activist, says the Israeli woman was protesting alongside Palestinians against Israeli policies in the West Bank when she suffered the head injury from a rubber bullet. She was evacuated to a Palestinian hospital. Her condition was not known. The military had no immediate comment.

At another demonstration Friday, an Israeli army dog chased down a Palestinian protester and dragged him along the ground. A military official said the protester had hurled rocks at Israeli soldiers. The official spoke anonymously according to army regulations.
