Clark College to host Green Resource Fair

Vancouver — Clark College is opening the doors to its east Vancouver location to host the third-annual Open House & Green Resource Fair.

The free event, “Thinking Green about Food: Sustainable & Locavore Living,” will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 24 at the Columbia Tech Center campus, 18700 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd.

The event includes cooking demonstrations by chef instructors and samples of gourmet foods. Those who attend will also learn about locally supported agriculture, composting and recycling. Younger visitors can participate in activities in the Kids Corner.

The event will include booths operated by community supported agriculture farmers, master composters, local wineries, Urban Abundance, the Camas Farmer’s Market and Whole Foods.
