MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Vikings cornerback Chis Cook says his next move after a jury acquitted him of charges that he assaulted his girlfriend is to get ready for next season.
Cook told reporters Thursday that he’s “got a job to do.” He noted he missed 10 games last season.
Cook says he still could face discipline from the NFL under its personal conduct policy.
Cook bowed his head deeply over the table when he heard the verdict. Outside court he said he had been on “an emotional roller coaster” and was relieved to be acquitted.
