Bulls star Derrick Rose out against Trail Blazers

CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose will miss Friday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers because of a strained groin.
Rose sat out his 12th game of the season. The Bulls are 8-3 without him, including a 106-102 victory over Miami on Wednesday night. Rose has also been limited by back and toe problems this season.
C.J. Watson started at point guard in place of Rose.
