SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Paul Goldschmidt hit a two-run triple and Geoff Blum drove in two runs, leading the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 4-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday.

Diamondbacks starter Daniel Hudson allowed two runs and two hits in four innings. He walked one, hit a batter and struck out six.

Brad Zeigler worked a perfect ninth for the save.

John Danks, who signed a five-year, $65 million dollar contract extension in December, gave up four runs — three earned — and five hits. He walked two and struck out two in four innings.

Danks also hit a two-run single in the second inning.
