A young man wearing a red mask and a dark sweatshirt stole a bank bag from a customer attempting to make a deposit at a drive-through window Friday afternoon.

The strong-arm robbery was reported shortly after 1 p.m. at U.S. Bank’s Cascade Park branch, 11621 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. The bank itself was not robbed.

According to emergency radio traffic, the customer was at the drive-through window attempting to make a transaction using a cash bag when she was approached by the robber, who stole the bag.

The robber fled in a vehicle described as an older blue Subaru occupied by three young men. It was last seen driving eastbound on McGillivray Boulevard.
