LACEY, Wash. (AP) — One person has died following a triple-shooting at a home in Lacey, about 60 mile south of Seattle, and authorities searched for the gunman after reports of a suspect in a dark hoodie jumping over fences and running through backyards in the suburban neighborhood.

Lacey Police Cmdr. Jim Mack says one victim was fatally wounded Monday morning and two were taken to an area hospital. He did not know their conditions.

A SWAT team briefly surrounded a nearby home and detained two people, but Mack says authorities don’t believe they were involved in the shooting.

Dozens of police, including canine units, continue the search for the suspect. Mack says it appears to be an isolated attack stemming from an argument inside the home.
