Man gets 12 years for meth-related assault

PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) — A man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to robbery, kidnapping and assault charges in what police described as a drug-related incident.

Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested 45-year-old Robert R. Pry in early November. Authorities say Pry kidnapped, robbed and assaulted a woman he believed had stolen meth from him.

Pry has 13 previous felony convictions, including for burglary, rape, forgery, possession of stolen property, unlawful firearm possession and malicious mischief.
