NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — When Kim Barnes Arico was just getting her rebuilding project going at St. John’s, she and her son, Trevor, could only dream about going to the NCAA tournament.

He’d talk about how the Red Storm were playing in the “Little Dance,” and maybe someday they’d get into the big one.

Now that Barnes Arico has St. John’s getting into the NCAA tournament regularly, the pressure is building. The Red Storm (23-9) have their highest seed ever at No. 3 this year but still have yet to make it out of the second round.

To do it, they’ll have to win on the road at sixth-seeded Oklahoma (21-12) on Tuesday night.
