LONDON (AP) — Bolton will return to the field in the English Premier League on Saturday, a week after midfielder Fabrice Muamba suffered cardiac arrest during a match.

The game Tuesday at Aston Villa was postponed. Muamba is recovering, and Bolton has decided to go ahead with the match Saturday against Blackburn.

Manager Owen Coyle returned to training with his team on Wednesday. He spent much of his time since Muamba collapsed at Tottenham on Saturday at the player’s bedside in a London hospital.

Coyle says “Fabrice’s father Marcel and his fiancee Shauna were keen that we fulfill our fixtures.”

Coyle also confirmed that the club wants to stay in the FA Cup and play its abandoned quarterfinal against Tottenham.
