Fircrest -- Girl Scout Troop 40442 won a window design contest sponsored by Kazoodles toy store in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Girl Scouts USA. Entries were judged on the design itself and the plans for carrying it out. The display will remain in the window at Kazoodles, 13503 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., through the end of March. It features photos of famous Girl Scouts, troops through the ages, and Girl Scout activities; handbooks of different eras; and even a 50-year-old Girl Scout cookie box. The girls attend Eisenhower Elementary School and Jason Lee Middle School.
