The C-Tran Board of Directors on Tuesday completed a positive evaluation of agency Executive Director Jeff Hamm but opted not to give him a raise.

The decision follows C-Tran’s recent pay freeze and does not reflect on Hamm’s job performance, Public Affairs Director Scott Patterson said. All board members spoke highly of Hamm following a Tuesday night executive session, Patterson said.

Hamm’s base salary remains $123,496. His most recent pay increased was on Jan. 1, 2008. Other nonrepresented staff have seen their pay remain flat since 2009.

The board did make one change to Hamm’s compensation, giving him a $300-per-month car allowance retroactive to January, Patterson said.

Hamm was hired as C-Tran’s executive director in 2006.
