WILSONVILLE, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police have arrested a state women’s prison employee accused of official misconduct and custodial sexual misconduct.

Lt. Gregg Hastings says the victim was a female inmate at the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville.

Hastings said Wednesday that 35-year-old Jeremy Veelle of Mulino was arrested after a four-month investigation by state police detectives. He’s scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Washington County Circuit Court.

Police say Veelle worked in the prison’s physical plant.
