VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — A car crashed through a fence near Vancouver and landed in the swimming pool at a home.
Clark County Fire District 6 says a cover on the pool prevented the car from sinking. The driver got out and responding firefighters found him Friday morning walking along a nearby street. He was taken to a hospital.
The fire department says the swimming pool will be drained to remove gasoline that spilled in the water after the crash.
