Letter: Resist advice from Rice
Tuesday, March 27, 2012
The March 20 Columbian story “Panel says problem schools hurt U.S. security” and an interview on PBS’ “Lehrer Report” have brought us a report examining the connections between education and national security from none other than Condoleezza Rice.
Didn’t we already do this and it didn’t turn out so well?
The thud from the ball that she and the Bush administration dropped is still reverberating around the world. I suggest Rice go down to Crawford, Texas with George W. Bush and hide until their mythical mushroom cloud disperses, and leave decent people alone.
