PORT ORFORD, Ore. (AP) -- The Oregon Transportation Department says crews have removed an estimated 400 cubic yards of rocky debris, opening a single lane of traffic on U.S. Highway 101 south of Port Orford on the southern Oregon coast.
A landslide blocked the highway Thursday night.
The department said Friday that until rain stops in the area, flaggers will be on scene to direct traffic.
