LENTEN ONE-ACT PLAY, “Christ in the Concrete City,” written in 1953, 7 p.m. April 2-3 at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 805 S.E. Ellsworth Road. FRIDAY

PEOPLES CHURCH will present a Good Friday family drama, music and worship service at 7 p.m. at the church, 6801 E. Mill Plain Blvd. An Easter celebration service begins at 10:30 a.m. April 8. * 360-750-7235.

PLEASANT VIEW CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 801 N.E. 194th St., Ridgefield, will offer a free meal at a dinner theater-type program, 6:30 p.m. at the church. Those attending will join church members dressed in period costumes, who will explain what the Last Supper is about. UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CHURCH OF VANCOUVER will present a Tenebrae service 8 p.m. Good Friday at the church, 4505 E. 18th St. The Tenebrae service will incorporate elements from Christian, Jewish and humanist sources. Tenebrae, meaning darkness, dates from the Middle Ages. This year’s theme reflects on recent hardships in war, the economy and the decline of the planet’s biodiversity.
