Vancouver-based nLight Corp., a manufacturer of high-power semiconductor lasers, has been named Washington’s Manufacturer of the Year in the Large Company category by Seattle Business magazine. The Washington Manufacturing Awards honor manufacturing companies for outstanding and innovative practices.
The nominations for Manufacturer of the Year were judged by a group of professionals based on financial performance, growth, innovation and job creation or retention.
“NLight is honored to receive this award,” said Steve Norgaard, vice president of manufacturing operations. “The nLight team has worked very hard over the years to grow our business, serve our customers better and improve our operations.”
