Riverview — The neighborhood association has been inactive for months. Meanwhile, issues are piling up: the train crossing at Chelsea Avenue, the closing of the riverfront trail because of erosion last year, the need for new officers. After months of silence, a meeting has been set to reactivate the Riverview Neighborhood Association. It is set for 6 p.m. May 24 at the Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way. The Riverview Neighborhood Association includes the area along the Vancouver waterfront south of state Highway 14, from the east edge of Marine Park over to Northeast 73rd Avenue.
