Amber Alert issued after woman stabs husband, takes girls in Shoreline

SEATTLE (AP) — The King County Sheriff's Office has issued an Amber Alert for two young girls authorities say were taken by their mother after she allegedly stabbed her husband in Shoreline.
Police say Doreen Starrish is a suspect in the Thursday stabbing that critically injured her husband. Detectives say Starrish took her daughters, who had been with their father.
The woman's car was found later in Seattle, but the 3- and 7-year-old girls and their mother were not inside. Police are still investigating.
