MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Amy Senser has settled a civil lawsuit brought by family members of a man who died in a hit-and-run accident involving Senser.
The settlement was announced Friday by attorneys for the family of Anousone Phanthavong (ah-NOO’-sahn PAN’-tah-wong), who died when Senser hit him near a Minneapolis freeway exit ramp last August.
Terms weren’t disclosed.
The settlement came one day after Senser, of Edina, Minn., was convicted of two felonies in connection with the hit-and-run. She faces four years in prison when she is sentenced in July.
