Death of man in Ridgefield house fire accidental

RIDGEFIELD, Wash. (AP) -- The Clark County medical examiner's office says the death of a man in a house fire Tuesday was accidental.
The office said Thursday that 59-year-old Dale Wesley Shoemaker died of smoke inhalation at his home near Ridgefield.
Arriving firefighters were pushed back by flames and had to truck water down a narrow road to reach the two-story farmhouse.
