Four people were injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash on state Highway 503 north of Battle Ground.

Washington State Patrol says the crash happened around 3:45 p.m. at Highway 503 and Northeast 244th Street.

According to a state patrol bulletin, Cameron M. Sanborn, 16, of Yacolt, was driving a 2001 BMW 525 east on 244th Street and made a left at a traffic signal to head north on Highway 503. The BMW and a 2002 Chrysler Town &Country minivan traveling south on Highway 503 collided in the intersection.

Four people were taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with injuries, state patrol said.

Clara A. Halme, 81, of Yacolt, who was driving the Town and Country, reported left arm and chest pain. Her passenger, Glenn J. Halme, 87, of Yacolt, was transported to the hospital with chest pain. They were reported in serious condition Thursday evening.
