Redeemed wins Belmont's Milesius Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) -- Redeemed romped to a 9 3/4-length victory in a three-horse race Thursday in the $81,000 Milesius Stakes at Belmont Park.

The field dwindled when the race originally slated for 1 1/4 miles on the turf was moved to the main track at 1 1/8 miles.

The 4-year-old Redeemed, ridden by Ramon Dominguez for trainer Rick Dutrow, finished in 1:50.88 and paid $3.20 for his sixth victory in 11 races. There was no place or show betting.
