Friday, May 4, 2012
BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) -- A Bellevue fire department spokesman says a woman was bitten in the arm by her boyfriend's 13-pound lynx.
Spokesman Lt. Troy Donlin says animal control took the cat from the man. It's illegal to own a lynx in King County.
Donlin says the injuries on the woman were not life threatening.
KIRO News reports (http://bit.ly/IAAICf) The animal is being taken to Bothell and will likely not be returned to its owner. The fate of the animal is uncertain.
