WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) — The Walla Walla sheriff’s office says the owner of a store shot and killed and intruder early Friday in Walla Walla.
Police and deputies responded about 2:30 a.m. to a reported burglary at the New York Store Western Outfitters.
KNDU reports (http://is.gd/3wS0KB ) the front window had been broken and a 21-year-old was attempting to take items from the store.
Deputies say the store owner confronted the intruder and shot him. He died at the scene.
