SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Spokane police are hunting for a suspect in what they call a random attack in which a woman was stabbed to death as she walked her dog.
The victim of Thursday’s attack has been identified as 55-year-old Sharlotte McGill. She suffered multiple stab wounds shortly after 8 a.m. and died in a hospital.
The attacker remained on the loose Friday. Police have not identified a suspect or a motive and have said the attack appeared to be random.
McGill graduated from Okanogan High School and was a clerk at the Spokane Valley Costco.
