The Clark College baseball team dropped out of playoff contention Sunday, but did leave Tacoma with a victory over the third-ranked Titans.

Clark won the second game of the doubleheader 2-1 in eight innings by tying the game in the seventh and pushing across the winner in the top of the eighth.

Andy Breshears and Jordan Entriken had the RBI for Clark (21-15, 8-12 NWAACC West Division).

In the first game, Tacoma limited Clark to three hits in a 6-1 victory.

Clark closes out the season with doubleheaders Friday and Saturday against Lower Columbia. Clark visits Longview on Friday and hosts on Saturday. Both days the games start at 1 p.m.

Lower Columbia clinched no worse than third place in the West Division with a sweep of Grays Harbor on Sunday. The top three teams qualify for postseason play.
