SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Colorado Rockies have rescinded the option to right-hander Jhoulys Chacin to Triple-A Colorado Springs and placed him on the 15-day disabled list with inflammation in his right shoulder.
The move is retroactive to Wednesday.
Chacin was optioned to the Sky Sox on Wednesday after getting off to a rocky start, going 0-3 with a 7.30 ERA.
