GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) -- Authorities have identified the Southern Oregon teenager who drowned at Rainie Falls on the Rogue River over the weekend as 19-year-old Joshua Eddy.

The Josephine County sheriff's office says Eddy was from the town Rogue River. He was with a group of friends Saturday when he was trying to snap a photo and slipped on a rock.

A search with a rafts and a plane turned up no trace of him, and the search was called off Sunday.

It was the second time somebody has fallen into the river and drowned in the last week. The river is running high and cold with spring runoff.
