Three teens were arrested early Monday after an alleged armed robbery in an Orchards-area parking lot, police said.

According to emergency dispatch logs, the robbery was reported just before 3:30 a.m. Monday at 5101 N.E. 112th Ave.

A man told police he was skateboarding in the Applebee’s parking lot when two men and a woman charged and robbed him, said Kim Kapp, Vancouver police spokeswoman. The suspects allegedly punched the victim in the face. After he fell to the ground, one suspect allegedly pointed an unknown type of handgun at him and told him to empty his pockets, Kapp said.

The three took the victim’s phone.

The victim ran to a nearby phone and called 911.

Police responded and detained four people in the area, Kapp said.

Philip R. Horn, 19, a 17-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery. All three are from Vancouver, Kapp said.
