PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A Portland Fire Bureau spokesman says a 19-year-old man was clipped by a slow-moving MAX light rail train but apparently suffered only non-life-threatening injuries.
Spokesman Paul Corah says the unidentified man was taken to OHSU Hospital.
The Oregonian reports the man was trying to cross the tracks Tuesday afternoon and catch a train headed in the opposite direction.
TriMet spokeswoman Mary Fetsch says the train operator sounded a warning horn.
