Local and national groups are offering activities in observance of Mental Health Month in May.

Events are aimed at raising awareness and understanding of mental health and recovery.

Clark County’s Regional Support Network and its partners are hosting the following events:

-Visions of Recovery Poster Contest — Open to anyone who lives or works in Southwest Washington. The contest seeks artwork from people of all ages and skill levels.

For more information, visit http://www.clark.wa.gov/mental-health/recovery.

-Mental Health Quiz Show — noon to 1 p.m. May 15 at the Center for Community Health, 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd.

The quiz show tests knowledge while informing attendees about mental health. All participants receive a prize. Lunch is provided. Registration is not required.

-Poster contest voting and resource fair — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 29 at the Center for Community Health.

Entries from the Visions of Recovery Poster Contest will be on display for public viewing. In addition, the event will include resource materials about mental health and services in Clark County.
