LONDON (AP) — British rapper Wretch 32 says he is proud to appear at the London Olympics.
He’s not competing, he’s performing at concerts around the U.K. celebrating the Olympic torch’s route as it travels to the games.
The Londoner will join Dizzee Rascal, The Wanted and Mark Ronson at a Hyde Park show in London July 26, the day before the Olympics’ opening ceremony.
Wretch 32 said: “I wanted to be involved as much as I possibly could because it’s such a big deal … I’m going to be telling my kids and my grandkids I was part of the campaign.”
