WHITE SWAN, Wash. (AP) — Residents of White Swan are worried about a string of arsons in the rural community on the Yakama reservation.

Since May 2, fires were set in two vacant homes and an abandoned hotel and abandoned hardware store.

Yakima County Fire District 5 Deputy Chief Kevin Frazier told the Yakima Herald-Republic (http://is.gd/NQCvSP) the fires may have been set by teens who were kicked out of the empty buildings or by a neighbor tired of the teens congregating.

Neighbors have been dismantling another vacant home to prevent it from becoming the next arson target.
