PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A Portland opera singer shot multiple times while driving on Interstate 205 says he does not think the person who pulled the trigger is an acquaintance.
Brian Tierney is recovering from life-threatening wounds sustained in the mysterious shooting that occurred six weeks ago.
The 29-year-old appeared at a press conference Thursday to thank the community for its support and to urge people to come forward with tips.
Tierney declined to say much about what happened that night, but says he does not believe the shooter was someone he knows.
Police, meanwhile, want to hear from anyone who saw a black Cadillac Escalade driving erratically on I-205 the night of the shooting.
