Sherwood looks for 2nd straight X-Fighters win

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — Levi Sherwood will try for his second straight victory when the Red Bull X-Fighters freestyle motocross tour makes its first U.S stop in two years.

Sherwood will be one of 12 top freestyle riders competing Saturday at Glen Helen Raceway.

Sherwood, of New Zealand, won the tour opener in Dubai.

Other riders competing at Glen Helen include Rob Adelberg, Wes Agee, Nick Dunne, Martin Koren, Maikel Melero, Tom Pages, Todd Potter, Eigo Sato, Dany Torres, Andre Villa and Javier Villegas.

Since 2001, Red Bull X-Fighters has become the biggest freestyle motocross tour in the world, featuring top riders throwing down big tricks in unique locations.
