MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — Medford police say they have arrested a suspect in a drive-by shooting last year that left one man with a serious wound and another man dead in a crash.
Police arrested 21-year-old Gabriel Perez on Thursday after officers went to a house on an unrelated case and saw him jump out a window and run.
Police say he was among four men in a car in November at a Central Point intersection. Shots from the car hit another vehicle that held two people authorities describe as innocent bystanders.
A man was hit in the jaw, and a woman’s head was grazed. Authorities haven’t said how they came to be targets.
