VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- A Vancouver, Wash., man who fled the scene of a car crash that mortally injured his friend and passenger has pleaded guilty to felony hit and run.
The Columbian reports (http://is.gd/jZP8Bp ) that 37-year-old Jason Graham entered his plea Friday. In return, prosecutors dropped a vehicular homicide charge.
Graham will be sentenced June 15.
A Cadillac driven by Graham hit a tree on Oct. 16, 2010, injuring 27-year-old Harold Sloan Blanchard of Amboy. Blanchard died about a week later.
Prosecutors say Graham called his wife to pick him up from the accident scene. The newspaper reports that Sarah Graham is charged with felony hit and run as an accomplice. Her trial is set for July 23.
