Letter: Civil liberties should be a given

This issue of gay marriage should not even be under discussion. It is a civil right under the Constitution of the United States. Just like the right for women and blacks to vote.
Let’s get off of it and move on to the real problems we have in this country, like unemployment and tax loopholes and wars we shouldn’t be engaged in.
