Man robs Medford bank, escapes on bicycle

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Medford bank and got away on a bicycle.

Officials say a person wearing a mask told the Umpqua Bank teller he was carrying a gun. He fled the bank with cash and hopped on a blue mountain bike he’d stashed at a nearby motel parking lot.

Medford Police Lt. Mike Budreau tells the Mail Tribune ( ) that the robbery left the teller shaken but nobody was injured.
